Dub From The D
Buddy of mine is a local DJ thats been spinning at a couple of Detroit clubs and events like, Fierce Hot Mess at Oslo and Passport Tuesdays at The Bosco. I had mentioned to him awhile ago that I was getting into Dub-Step. Turns out thats what he spins! Havent had a chance yet to see him on deck but if your around Detroit check out those events to hear some bangin shit. Anyways, hes been putting out some mixes and I’ve definetly been diggin em. There a little slow for my tastes, but Im currently listening to Hellaweed Halloween and its definitely a great dub mix. Keepin it dark and grimey.

MEGADRIVE - ME GUSTA
Found these two awhile ago. Coming out of San Jose California these two young producers (I believe they’re in high school) are comin up with some incredibly dope beats and remixes. There influences of J Dilla, Daft Punk and Diplo really shine through. They’ve got the old school hip hop meets streetwear swag like The Cool Kids too, but they put there spin on it. Unfortunately they are also fans of the atrocious Lil Wayne which can show in there numerous remixes of his. They put out two Remixtapes and numerous tracks that can be found on there myspace as well as downloaded. Check em out here: ME GUSTA

There's One In All Of Us
These are pictures from my actual copy of the book. It was my favorite as a child and still is. It sits on my bed side table. I read it almost every night since I found it.
You have no idea how excited I am for the movie.
Can’t wait.
